NEW SUNDAY MORNING ADULT BIBLE CLASSES

Our Sunday morning Adult Bible Classes are scheduled to change today. But you don't have to move! Just stay in the class and the teacher will come to you. The following is a list of classes that will be taught:

In the Auditorium: Paul Good (and others) will be teaching on "The Church - Do We Really Need Each Other?" We live out the gospel of Christ in the context of a local fellowship. But, is it possible that God intended that our relationships with other Christians would be at the very core of our relationship with Him? Could it be the key to our growing into mature followers, and perhaps even the primary way we are to reach out to the world around us?

In Room 5: David Chenault will be leading a study of "The Church - What It Means To Us." We'll look at the historical nature of the church in Scripture and how it agrees or disagrees with our own beliefs and the beliefs of others who claim to be Christians.

In the Annex: Steve Neville will teach "The Lord's Supper," and we will be taking a look at the background, history, and scriptures relevant to this event with a view to examining our attitudes and practice in the light of what scripture really says.

PARENTS'/YOUTH MEETING ON MAY 3
3-12th grade youth group kids, parents and anyone interested in the youth summer schedule will have a meeting this afternoon beginning at 4:30 p.m. in the annex. We will be discussing the summer activities; so please make plans now to be here for this important meeting.

We are so sorry to hear of the death of Carol McCormick Jordan's father-in-law Wes Jordan of College Station (Carol is W.A. & Shirley's daughter). And Robert Mobley (friend of the Newtons) died Sunday after a long battle with cancer.

I want to thank each of you for your expressions of concern and your prayers on my behalf for the recent medical difficulties I am having. I know that I am healed – it happened about 2000 years ago when Jesus died on the cross for me. But like Paul I ask God to remove the “thorns” in my flesh so that I can more easily do His will for the remainder of my life. However if like Paul I am told by God that His grace is all I need then I will accept His will and continue to try to serve Him to the best of my abilities. SUNDAY MORNING ADULT BIBLE CLASSES BEGINNING APRIL 5

In the Annex: Paul Good (and others) will be teaching on "The Church - Do We Really Need Each Other?" We live out the gospel of Christ in the context of a local fellowship. But, is it possible that God intended that our relationships with other Christians would be at the very core of our relationship with Him? Could it be the key to our growing into mature followers, and perhaps even the primary way we are to reach out to the world around us?

In the Auditorium: David Chenault will be leading a study of "The Church - What It Means To Us." We'll look at the historical nature of the church in Scripture and how it agrees or disagrees with our own beliefs and the beliefs of others who claim to be Christians.

In Room 5: Steve Neville will teach "The Lord's Supper," and we will be taking a look at the background, history, and scriptures relevant to this event with a view to examining our attitudes and practice in the light of what scripture really says.
