| · What is the church of Christ? We are undenominational and have no central headquarters or president. The head of the church is none other than Jesus Christ himself (Ephesians 1:22-23).
Each congregation of the churches of Christ is autonomous, and it is the Word of God that unites us into One Faith (Ephesians 4:3-6). We follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and his holy Apostles, and not the teachings of man. We are Christians only!

| · Who leads the congregation at Broad Street? Like the congregations in the New Testament, (Titus 1:5,7) Broad Street is overseen by group of elders. Currently, three men serve as elders including Chuck Parish, Steve Neville and David Palk.
Again, taking our lead from the New Testament, (1 Tim 3:8-13) several men have been selected to serve in specific roles as deacons. Each deacon is responsible for a specific area of ministry within the congregation. Todd Roberts, Russell Reeves, Wayne Palk, Javiar Vargas, Paul Good, Mike Tomlinson, and David Chenault serve as deacons.
There are several other people who help make sure the work of the local congregation gets done (1 Cor. 12:27-30) including ministry leaders, secretaries, teachers, evangalists, preachers, and others. On staff are Steve Neville - Pulpit Ministrer, Victor Ortega - Hispanic Minister, and Chad Parrish - Youth Minister. Even those members not on staff have a role in the church at Broad Street!
